Grungetastic - iPad Info
Grungetastic cranks your photos to 11 with three hot and heavy looks: Classic Grunge, Bleached Grunge, and Pop Grunge. These three fun and aggressive Grungetastic styles let you get down and dirty with your photos, just like they like it. Faster than you can say "filthy," these styles and Grungetastic's easy, hands-on interface will have you smushing delightfully unwell textures and tones, deeply satisfying contrasts, and explosively pleasurable pops.
Grungetastic styles are creative madness or clearer visions of reality, whatever it is, they go to an artistic place few ever get. You can't get a cooler, hotter photo anywhere.
Shadows, Rubbing, Scratching, Ripping, Shredding, Stressing, Distressing, Popping, Exploding, Splatters, Smudging, Glowing, Glaring, Smoking – just some of the wildness that Grungetastic will hook you up with.
Getting Started:
Theres 2 ways to start either Take a picture or get an image from your Camera Roll
Buttons
On the iPad the buttons are located above the image
Customize
There are three tabs which you can use to customize your picture
Adjust Tab ( Different for each of the different preset styles.)
*Pop Version
Tone Slider
Moving this slider right increases the strength of the tone globally. Most of the effects use one color box but some use two. To change the color (tone) of the image, tap on the color box to get to the color picker.
Threshold Slider
This slider darkens the shadows in the image.
Colors Slider
This slider controls the colors used in the image and how strong the colors become.
Smooth Slider
Controls how hard the edges are on the colors.
*Bleached Version

Bleach Slider
Changes the color tone of the bleach effect on your image

Fade Slider
Move left to add more of the original colors back to the image and move right to remove the original colors
*Worn Pop Version
Tone Slider
Moving this slider right increases the strength of the tone globally. Most of the effects use one color box but some use two. To change the color (tone) of the image, tap on the color box to get to the color picker.
Colors Slider
This slider controls the colors used in the image and how strong the colors become.
Smooth Slider
Controls how hard the edges are on the colors.

Contrast Slider
Deepens the dark areas in the image.
Soften/ Sharpen Slider
Move left to remove unwanted noise or move right to increase apparent sharpness

Grunge Tab
There are two different Grunge effects on your image you can alter them individually in this tab.
Strength Slider
Change the opacity of the selected Grunge effect
Colorbox (not available when a Worn Pop or Worn style preset is selected.)
Select the color of the selected Grunge effect
Grunge Brushes
Grungetastic includes tons of different grunge brushes seperated into seven different categories: Grainy, Scraches, Textures, Blotches, Abstract, Extreme and Stylized.
Borders Tab
Border Color (not available when Worn Pop or Worn is selected it is instead replaced with an opacity slider)
Adjust the color of the selected border
Border Thumbnails
Select a border to be displayed around your image
Paper Tab
( Only available when a Distressed, Gritty, Worn or Worn Pop style preset is selected.)
Paper Tint
Select the opacity of the chosen color on the paper style
Strength Slider ( Not available when a Worn or Pop Worn preset style is selected.)
Change the opacity of the chosen paper style
Paper Thumbnails
Choose a paper style to overlay your image
Saving
There are multiple ways to save and share your image
Save Photo
Saves your image to your Camera Roll
Save Preset
Adds your custom made preset to the Styles Tab
Print
Opens up a print option where if you have a printer connected to your device you can print it right then
Email
Opens up your email so you can share your photo with friends and family
Facebook
This will save your image and open up a Facebook login screen once logged in your photo will be automatically uploaded to facebook

Grungetastic comes with three built in preset styles and four purchasable styles
Classic Grunge
- Get a little dirty by adding two fully customizeable layers of grungy tone, texture and scratch patterns to give your photo attitude and style.
Bleached Grunge
- This extreme and monotoned effect combines the cool look of a contrasty, desaturated image with grungy grit and texture.
Pop Grunge
- Become a grungy pop icon! This effect turns your photograph into a comic-style artwork then adds lots of grungy texture for a display of dramatic creativity.
Worn Pop Grunge (Available In App)
- This grungy effect starts by converting a photo to pop art then wears away the surface to reveal distressed and aged paper beneath.
Worn Grunge (Available In App)
- Give your photo an appearance of wear from years of dust and dirt scuffing away the surface to reveal aged paper beneath.
Gritty Grunge (Available In App)
- This grungy effect uses various ingenious techniques to create an over exposed quality contrasted with gritty distressed texture.
Distressed (Available In App)
- This extreme grungy effect distresses with stains and scratches then fades the photos leaving behind traces of time-worn color rippling through the darker areas in the image.
Saving and Deleting Presets
Once you have applied a preset and modified it using the adjust tab, you can save your own custom preset by using the "Save Preset" button on the main screen. To delete a preset click the red X in the bottom corner which will make red Xs appear next to the preset thumbnails tap them to delete.
